I have a very similar problem with Arocbat X, I have heard about the network printer problem but I was always loath to delete them since I will have to re-install them again, but this time I did! I deleted every network printer and basically had only Adobe Acrobat X installed!!! Still the same problem!! when I open a PDF file and try to print it, the printe dialogue takes about 20 seconds or so to open and while that is hapenning, in the top Programme Bar the message "(not responding)" appears after Adobe Acrobat Pro as I said for about 20 seconds or so.
